About Fells Code
Building the identity platform I always wanted to run.
Hi, I'm Brandon Corbett. I've run Fells Code from Baltimore since 2015, much of it building software for government and regulated teams. Every project hit the same wall: sign-in was rented, expensive and fragile. Seamless is my answer, and I build it in public so anyone can run it.
The story
The company narrowed, on purpose.

Fells Code began as a solo software practice for teams that needed dependable delivery, clear communication, and senior engineering without layers of process. - Secure and regulated delivery
The work moved into mobile, data, cloud and security, much of it for government and regulated environments. One theme kept repeating: authentication was where teams got stuck. - A sharper point of view
The conviction that came out of those years: logins should be passwordless, isolated per customer, and easier to adopt than what they replace. - Seamless, in the open
Fells Code builds Seamless full time: an identity and access platform anyone can run, growing release by release toward everything teams rent today. RoxTarget, our own app, runs it in production first.

Open source by default
Apache-2.0 with no enterprise edition. Every security feature stays in the open project, forever.
Honest about where we stand
We say what ships today and label everything else with its release. We never round a number up.

Removing a whole class of attacks beats designing around passwords forever.
